Submitted text and AI providers
When you start a generation, arxvi sends the submitted text and generation instructions to the AI provider for the model you selected. The enabled models currently use OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepSeek.
Those providers process the text to return a generated result. Their handling of that request is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Do not submit confidential, legally restricted, or personally sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.
What arxvi does not store
arxvi does not write the essay or other text submitted to the essay extender into its application database. It also does not write the generated essay result into that database.
Text still travels through arxvi infrastructure and the selected AI provider while the request is being processed. “Not stored” does not mean that no processing occurs.
Account and usage data
When you sign in, arxvi may store account details supplied through the login flow, such as your name, email address, and profile image. It also stores credit balances, subscription or purchase state, and usage metadata needed to operate the service.
Essay-extender usage metadata includes the account, selected provider, input unit count, credits used, and time of the request. It does not include the submitted essay or generated result.
Authentication, payments, and essential storage
Session cookies or similar browser storage are used to keep accounts signed in and to remember interface settings such as theme. Checkout providers process payment details; arxvi records the resulting purchase or subscription state rather than storing full payment-card details.
Service providers may process limited technical data needed to deliver authentication, payments, hosting, security, and analytics. arxvi does not send essay text to analytics events.
Retention and your choices
Account and usage records are retained as needed to operate credits, subscriptions, support, security, and service records. You may ask about or request deletion of account data by contacting support@arxvi.com. Some records may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
You can avoid AI-provider processing by not submitting text to a generation tool.
